The temple was inaugurated on Vaishak Shudh Triyodashi 1920 at Paniwada, Bori. The temple earlier existed for 310 years at Khazordem where now the Shivershwar Temple is built in 2009
The Kul Purush alias Shiv Purush temple is built in memory of the Mulpurush for the Varde Borkar Family
The Tali built 100 years back is redesigned by Ketak Nachinolkar, Conservation Architect in August 2019.
The large tali adjacent to the Devachi Tali is a place where the Borkars traditionally had a bath. Now the tradition is dying. Village residents earlier used to wash clothes in the Tali, which is now discontinued to avoid pollution.
The Bhakta Nivas was built in 1970 at the Golden Jubilee of Shree Shivim Mandir for the kulavi to stay and perform religious rituals at the temple. The Bhakta Nivas now has two independent blocks for the kulavis to stay. The first floor has large hall for future expansion.
The Pujari Nivas was built in 1970 at the Golden jubilee of Shree Shivim Mandir for the pujari to stay on the campus assist the kulavis with religious rituals and perform abhishek each day. The Pujari Nivas has undergone complete renovation.
In 2008, A mandap was built to conduct cultural and religious activities at major events of Shree Shivim Mandir as Vasant puja & Ganesh festival. The mandap is available for the kulavis to perform family functions as marriage, thread ceremony etc.
Stories on how there has been occult experiences in the vicinity of Bhootchi Tali is well known, The vines of the creepers give the area a unique look. We intend to have a viewing gallery from the roadside to get a nice view.
The tali which is nested in the Kulagars has lot of lotus & other water plants close to Vasudev Raghnath Borkar's house
The house existed 100 years back now in ruins belonging to Vithal alais Raoji Borkar. During the cleaning up of the area we located a pillar which supported the entrance. Now we have recovered and errected two pillars at the entrance of Devachi Tali.
These are the lungs of the area with arecanuts and coocunt trees creating a thick vegetation not allowing sunshine to penetrate thus creating a air conditioned area throughout the year.
Shree Shivim is a incarnation of Shiva in a form of Nagadevta.
The view shows the way leading to the Tali. Today the families of Gangadhar & Damodar still maintain the Borkar house.
