  • Origins of Vatsa  Gotra from Brighu rishi, around 10000 BCE years back 


  • Parshuram's times in the Saraswati river in North west of Indian subcontinent  lived the Saraswats


  • Migration to east, to south, to west of vatsa Gotri around 300 CE - Mauryan Empire 


  • Vatsa & Kaundinya Gotris Mangueshi Mahajans from 300 CE - 1570 CE in Kutthali  area.


  • 1566 CE Shantadurga Temple relocation from Kelshi to Kawlem 


  • 1570 CE first Varde Mulpurush (Shiv Purush) in Lotulim   


  • 1570 CE – 2023 CE - 450 years VardeBorkar family associated to Lotulim-Bori area 


  • 1640 CE - Shiva VardeBorkar (grandson of first Varde) established in Bori 


  • Migration of Shiva VardeBorkar siblings from Bori to Sankhali, Bicholim, Karwar and Khanapur  in 17th century AC


  • 1610 CE to 1920 CE – Earlier Shivim temple(s) in Khozordem area - 310 years of no documented history

 

  • Vaishak Shudh Trituya May 1920 CE - Present temple inaugurated with anniversary celebration as Vasant Puja  done early till today


  • In May 1970 CE on 50th anniversary established two apartments one for pujari and one for visiting Varde Borkar mahajan


  • In 2006 CE, a mandap was built at Borim to celebrate Vasant Puja and other Varde Borkar functions


  • In 2007 CE at the Khazordem location of earlier Shivim temple, a new Shiveshwar temple built


  • 5  May 2020 CE completion of 100 years of the existing  Shivim Temple & 450 years of Shiv Purush
